Well, the new owner returned Sophie. I can hardly stand it. Why was she returned? She said Sophie would vomit after she'd eat. Every time? No. Who knows what the real story is. Bottom line, Sophie was returned last night without even a kiss goodbye.
Sophie is in a new foster home. She's not settled in yet and was very upset about making the change. Too many people don't understand that pets are not disposable. When they're dumped like this it rocks their world.
I feel very good about this home. It's a husband & wife and there are other cats in the home. Yeh! Sophie will have furry friends. This couple has a good understanding of cats plus the lady is from South Africa and knows how horrific it is to declaw a cat. I think they'll do a fine job of rehabilitating Sophie.

I'm so sorry that things haven't worked out again for Sophie, if only someone would give her a chance to settle in and show her some love and compassion I'm sure she would return it to them tenfold. That poor little cat has had so much to put up with in her life, my heart goes out to her, and to you who are trying to help her.

ReplyDeleteIt's just unreal the bad fortune this poor cat has had. She arrived in the new foster home VERY upset. It's too similar to the way she was after the first owner.
The good news is that this foster home is very loving, kind, compassionate and they will truly help her.
